Derrick Kirkpatrick

Born in Milford Connecticut, Derrick Kirkpatrick purchased his first fly rod at the age of 11, beginning a lifelong obsession. Derrick attended guide school and was certified by Fly Fishing Outfitters in Avon, Colorado. Since then Derrick has been a fishing manager for The Orvis Company and Cabelas. With a Bachelors Degree in IT and hard work during his "free time", CT Fish Guides was born. Derrick guides fresh, salt, and fly, for both beginner and advanced anglers.
